The Call for Intolerance
I think I may have another book to add to the list of books I would eventually like to write. For now, I'll call it "The Call for Intolerance." In fact, I just added it to my list.
I keep hearing about how Christians should be more tolerant of the lives, actions, and choices of other people. I keep seeing churches that say you can have Jesus and continue living in your sins. Do what feels good, and He will forgive you on Sunday. It makes me sick to see preachers essentially sending people to Hell by telling them they can get to Heaven by going through the "ritual" of walking down the aisle and then going back to the lives they had already been living in.
Our God is NOT a tolerant God, He is a jealous God. People need to know that. There will be consequences(good or bad) for your actions. There will come a time when all will stand before the throne of judgment. The people preaching these lies are selling tickets to heaven for sure... sadly that's not the final destination for the people they've fooled, it's just a stop along the way. We need to show these people that it takes an inward change to make heaven the last stop on your journey.

sounds good...tell me more
is this going to be a fiction or
non-fiction book?
That's an interesting question... I had just been thinking non-fiction, but fiction would give some interesting options. Clearly, I need to put more thought into this.
I hadn't even thought of you writing a non-fiction book until just before I wrote that question. Not that I don't think you could, just that you never really talked about it. hummm
I would like to see both, to tell the truth, I think your blunt way of putting thing needs to be heard :)
so non-fiction would be great. but your right about being able to say things and get points across in fiction that you can't in non-fiction
what about doing a short story as a beginning as an illustration and then go into the book.
it's a new fresh idea too..as far as I know it hasn't been done before... you could do a whole series on different subjects that you feel strong about
Lol, I don't think much about me writing non-fiction either.
That's an interesting idea, maybe it could be one book, but like between each chapter of the fiction portion have a section of non-fiction. I think that could work well if I come up with a good plot for the fiction parts that will fit with the non-fiction parts.
I had thought about doing a series on different topics before. I still like that idea. Maybe I could come up with a fictional story to go with each of the different topics... hmm...
now your talkin'
or thinkin'
yeah...I really like that idea
hurry up and get to work and get it written ....I can't wait to read what you write...lol
